Iverson decided that he could integrate his culinary knowledge and experience from Park City into a c and experienced in a high demand market such as Park City, to what he grew up knowing and loving in South Carolina. Born into a family of artists, Chef Iverson treats an empty plate like a blank canvas. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina, Chef Iverson headed west. Chef Iverson spent four years as Executive Chef at Park City’s The Viking Yurt, a remote gourmet restaurant reachable only by sleigh. Working in a completely open kitchen with no electricity or running water, Chef Iverson created such memorable experiences that his work was featured on The Discovery Channel, The Food Network, The Travel Channel, and The Today Show. Iverson is most recognized for his culinary creations as founder, owner and Executive Chef of Iverson Catering. Based in Park City, Utah, and in Charleston, S.C., the company catered to a diverse clientele in these two very different cities. Iverson Catering was not limited to just these two cities, delighting palates both nationally and internationally. During the Athens games in 2004 Iverson and his culinary team were chosen to run and operate the USA house. This consisted of all needs of the athletes and their sponsors such as Starbucks, Nike and Anheuser Busch.
